Peters & May boasts an extensive legacy within the marine sector, encompassing a wide range of services that include the transportation of yacht components. A recent project involved a bespoke request from our client to ship a 24.5-metre yacht mast directly to a boat builder’s facility located in Vietnam.
Our approach began with an in-depth analysis to identify the optimal shipping solution for this unique cargo. After careful consideration, we opted to transport the mast as break bulk cargo, leveraging our expertise to ensure a smooth and secure transit. The journey commenced from Hamburg port, Germany, and concluded at Vung Tau port, Vietnam.
Upon arrival in Vietnam, our collaboration with local Peters & May colleagues was instrumental in orchestrating the mast’s onward journey to its final destination. This project underscored our commitment to providing tailored logistical solutions, demonstrating our capability to manage complex shipments with precision and care.
